Inspiring Youth in the Arts and Beyond
Starz Theater Company (STC) is the theater performance division of Turning Pointe School of Dance, a Christian-based dance studio offering classes, summer intensives, and performance opportunities with its varied divisions.
STC offers musical theater experiences for students ages 9-18 (or senior in high school). Our school-year and summer productions, in partnership with the Turning Pointe Musical Theater Program, are designed to enrich the training of enrolled TPD students.
Performers not enrolled at Turning Pointe may still audition through our community auditions and casting opportunities are offered based on experience and available roles.
At Starz Theater Company, our heart is to build a positive culture, uplifting community, and bright futures by developing well-rounded performers and young leaders who understand the power and purpose of the arts.
In line with the vision of Turning Pointe Dance, we are a faith-based arts program that empowers students with grit, grace, and gratitude for the arts and God’s Kingdom. We honor Christ in all we do as we strive to nurture students’ gifts and care for them as a whole person. Our goal is not to produce the next Broadway star, but to encourage each individual in the unique path God has set before them as they impact others and “shine like the stars in the sky.” (Philippians 2:15b)

Turning Pointe Dance offers year-round training for students of all ages and levels. Classes run September–May, with a 6-week summer series in June–July.The TPD Musical Theater Program provides dance, voice, and acting classes from ages 4-18. Designed for performers at any stage of their training, the program has a cumulative curriculum developed exclusively for Turning Pointe. Students have opportunities to grow and perform as each class showcases its work in the annual TPD recital or class musical showcase.
