Showcase Rehearsals that bring your talents center stage
Summit Speakers sharing inspiration and advice
Games and Team Activities to spark creativity and friendships
Mentoring and Encouragement for development of the performer as a whole person
Young Performer Summit isn’t just training, it’s a celebration of your love for theater! The intensive culminates in an onstage showcase performance where you’ll shine in front of family and friends, performing in up to four numbers.
Whether you’re here to grow, perform, or connect and have fun with your theater community, YPS is a chance to take a bold step forward in your theater training!

What: A 3-day Musical Theater Intensive presented by Turning Pointe Dance and Starz Theater Company. Boost confidence and unleash creativity as you train in vocals, dance and acting!

Small Teams - Big Connections
YPS welcomes all levels - from beginners to experienced performers! Our goal is for each student to feel challenged, but also inspired and supported. As part of registration, students will complete an experience form to help us place them on one of our four YPS Teams. Each team trains at its own level and works toward shared goals.
To encourage friendships and help students connect with instructors, team sizes are limited. At Starz Theater Company and YPS it’s about community and creativity!
