What is Young Performer Summit?

Young Performer Summit is the place where we come together to Grow, Connect, Dream, Discover and SHINE!! A theater intensive for youth held in Colorado Springs, YPS offers a place for students to strengthen their Triple Threat skills (singing, dancing and acting) and accelerate their growth as a performer! Presented by Starz Theater Company and Turning Pointe Dance, Young Performer Summit welcomes students at all experience levels from all parts of our community.

Each performer will be mentored by professional and encouraging instructors while surrounded by peers who share the same interests and goals. In addition to excellent theater training, each of our instructors is equally committed to creating a healthy, positive and safe theater experience for all performers. At Young Performer Summit, we nurture a spirit of unity and friendship amongst our students. We give them unique moments throughout the intensive to cheer each other on, boost confidence, and affirm that we all bring something special to the stage.

Young Performer Summit is held each summer. YPS Spotlight is a 3-day theater intensive for students ages 10-18.
